Happy Friday! How's your day? I am literally on cloud nine today because I just received email from my uni that I passed my examination! Woohoo! I was so worried after the examination, fearing that I would failed. In fact, I have this feeling after every exam whutttt ._. Although friends around me had been telling me that I can do it, yet I still had the usual panic attack before the release of results. But thank God I made it! I am stepping into my 3rd year of medic school life. What a relief! I am a blessed child. :)
Okay now let's talk about something special today.

People generally have low awareness of their own health, not to mention feminine hygiene. Before I start on the topic, I actually have a confession to make here haha I feel so embarrassed of myself because given that I am a second year medical student, I didn't actually pay much attention to this topic. Some people didn't even know the existence of feminine hygiene wash! Do you know that improper cleaning of female's private part will cause odours, itching, and discomfort? In some cases if bacterial infections happen, it may lead to sterility, disease, cancer, and other health problems. So I hope by sharing it here today, you will gain some extra knowledge and to know that taking care of your intimate part is equally important to taking care of your face and body!
Thanks to Eryn, I got to know of ESUI Feminine Hygiene Wash and the importance of intimate cleansing.
What is ESUI Feminine Hygiene Wash?
A product manufactured with nano-technology and is made in France. It has received awards for the Asia Pacific Super Health Brand & Asia Pacific Top Excellence Brand. Note that the product is certified HALAL. It is made of natural ingredients from herbs and had been proven to be free of side effects. ESUI Feminine Hygiene Wash is manufactured at a pH level of 4.0, which research of School of Medicines of Chelsea University has revealed to be the most suitable pH for feminine hygiene products. Cleaning of vagina with ordinary soap (which is what we girls do normally!) may upset the natural vaginal pH because ordinary soap is alkaline. It leads to imbalance of vaginal flora and cause abnormal vaginal discharge and infection. This feminine cleanser acts as a natural antiseptic and detoxification to help maintain the vagina's microbial balance and natural acidity while preventing vaginal symptoms and unpleasant odours. ESUI Feminine Hygiene wash also lightens pigmentation in vagina, prevents gynaecological diseases and lubricates & tones up the vaginal muscles.
The product has a very elegant silver packaging. The small 60ml bottle is easy to carry around for people who travel. The one I am having is the 60ml bottle but there are 150ml bottle as well. They are available at all local pharmacies such as Watsons and Guardian at the price of RM 21.90 and RM 47.00 respectively.
Ingredients:
Purified water, Cocamidoproyl, Pueraria Mirirfrica Extract, Quercus Infectoria Extract, Labisia Pumila Extract, Piper Betle Extract, Aloe Ferox Leaf Extract, Citric Acid, Fragrance, Glycerin, Magnesium Nitrate, Menthol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methyllsothiazolinone.
As you can see, it comes with a flip cap for our convenience. The colour is a bit brownish-red mainly due to the natural herbal extracts inside. It has a characteristic odour which I personally find it quite pleasant!
Directions of use:
1. Clean the outer vagina thoroughly.
2. Pour out ESUI Feminine Hygiene Wash about the size of 20 cent.
3. Slowly wash the vagina and leave it for about 60 seconds before flushing it.
4. Done!
What I think:
I have constantly used the product for 3 weeks, and I really like it! I feel comfortable and fresh after every use, especially during menstrual period. For now I use it everyday when showering and I will surely recommend it to my friends and family!
