Perfectionist get stressed up easily.

Me and Zhang Yao Dong from Mediacorp.
Was very lucky to meet him today when I went out with my family.
:D

I enjoy the life when I wake up from a deep and good sleep everyday and I know what to do for my day. This is called post exam syndrome! I always have a long list of things to do for the time after my exam. I will make sure I make full use of my holiday, charge back my battery. Goodbye JC1. Hey you, JC2, I am ready for you. :) My psychology course taught me that one of the tips to release stress : Never expect too high. Expect less from people. It makes it easier - not great, just less upsetting. One point here is sometimes it is not expectation from others that kill you, it is your own expectation.

The physician himself, if sick, actually calls in another physician, knowing that he cannot reason correctly if required to judge his own condition while suffering.
ARISTOTLE, De Republica

But a perfectionist stress on every minor thing. How to ask perfectionists to expect less from people, expect less from their own? So is perfectionist = stress?
I guess this is a fate for every perfectionist out there. Unless you have decided to, not to be perfect anymore.

做自己的主人

Friends, good friends, best friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, families, brothers, sisters.
No one in this world should have the power to influence my mood.
Even if you have that power, your power will not be useful on me.
I don't allow. I don't allow you to break my good mood. You should make my day, never the other way round. I will not hesitate to leave you one day, when all I can describe about the feeling with you is stress.

I will only be happy when I make food for you and you tell me it is the best food you have ever had in this world.
I will only be happy when I cry to a touching scene in a drama.
I will only be happy when I shop for some new clothes.
I will only be happy when I finally got an A for my Anatomy Practical.

从此刻起,快乐伤心我自己决定。

Dance to my 2013

I would like to share a conversation that I overheard today with you.
A young mother was chatting with her friends, she said.
'' Aiyo my boy ah, kept complaining to me. He said, look, our grandma also uses iphone already, who still wants to use buttons? ''
WTF. At that moment I feel like taking out my Sony Ericsson phone.
To be frank, it's never a real problem for me to change a new phone.
So, here comes 2013. Is this a year for me to change?
I have been having the thought to change a better phone, to even curl my hair, for quite a while.
But because I am still me, the me who doesn't dare to step forward to really change.
Why la why. I also want to surprise everyone one day. :)

My most significant scene in 2012 is not filled with laughters. Sadly.
I don't know why, I disappointed a bunch of nice friends nice coursemates who made my 2012 awesome. Because what I can think of 2012 is still that sad scene. THAT sad scene that never stop hounding me.
Because reminiscing back 2012 and making new year 2013 resolutions are too mainstream.
Guess you will get bored hearing my stories as well.
So I am not going to do that, but I will do that in my heart because my heart will know me the best.

Thank you 2012. Bring it on 2013.

"You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening.
and Live like it's heaven on earth"
