''In her dreams, her fairy godmother
sprinkled her with stardust
She then leaves a trail of glitters
which is never forgotten''
Make up makes women look outstanding and beautiful. Eyeliner is one of the most important cosmetics to define our eyes, especially for Asians like me who have monolids. Whether you choose a soft line or a dramatic stroke, you can easily embellish the windows to your soul by spending just a few minutes in front of a mirror with an eyeliner. And don't you agree that eye contact is the strongest form of non verbal communication? My lecturer, who specialised in Paediatrics once told us that when she first enters a ward, she will immediately look the patient in the eye. ''This helps me understand my patient's story behind the pain.'' She explained. I couldn't agree more. Same goes to all kinds of interactions we make with people around us. Hence it really does make a difference for girls to spend some time on eye make up.
Today I am going to review something that can give you alluring eyes, that can transform your look, just like how fairy godmother transformed Cinderella. It is Miss Hana Gel Eyeliner of Stardust Series! All thanks to the kind sponsor of Natta Cosme. This is also the first time that I am doing beauty review for Natta Cosme, so proud to be part of Nattalicious! :)
Natta Cosme wrapped the eyeliners nicely in a small black box, making it a pleasure for us to receive the parcel at our doorstep. And it was love at first sight - I absolutely love the lace details around the little pink packaging. The eyeliner pencil is very light and it looks sleek, easy for girls to carry around!
Miss Hana Gel Eyeliner comes in four colours:
01 Night Black
02 Galaxy Black
03 Choco Brown
04 Golden Brown
This time I am just going to review the Stardust Series, which is the 02 Galaxy Black and 04 Golden Brown. The special thing about these two colours is that they give off a shimmering effect to your eyes. Perfect for attending events at night! It helps you to stand out and become the center of attention. Oh I can't wait to get my hands on it!
There are Chinese descriptions at the back of the box since it is a cosmetic brand from Taiwan. What are the factors to consider when you are choosing an eyeliner? Basically, Miss Hana Waterproof Eyeliner Pen is based on waterproof, oil, concentrated color three demands. It has gelatinous texture of moderate hardness, designed for easy use. It claims to be extremely waterproof removable, anti-sweat, anti-tears, oil, and maintain a whole day without smudges. Now one can easily create attractive three-dimensional deep eyes! Let's try and see.
The eyeliner comes with a plastic cap. It is creamy and it glides on smoothly, making it easy for beginners to apply. Here's some hand swatches! The only thing that I don't like is that I will need to sharpen the tip of the pencil quite often when it becomes blunt. That makes it difficult to achieve thin line on eyelids. And the glittery bits only reflect brightly at certain angle, which disappointed me a little. But it's okay! This means that I can not only use it for parties at night, but also daily use to school or work!
As you can see, I wrote ''Star'' with 02 Galaxy Black and ''Dust'' with 04 Golden Brown. It delivers richly pigmented colour, just one swipe is enough! Next, let's start with the mandatory....
Waterproof & Smudge Test
Tadaaa - Miss Hana Gel Eyeliner is really waterproof! It doesn't smudge after I kept my tap running for like three minutes. Colour stays! Tried rubbing it after running under the water and still, it doesn't budge at all. To my surprise, even the glitters stay!
Waterproof and smudge test, both checked! :)
Here comes the most challenging part of this review - I am going to try it on my eyes! When I was drawing I couldn't help but to think of a really funny meme that I have seen....

I'LL JUST BE A PANDA HAHAHA. I only started putting on make up like few months ago? So pardon me if I didn't do well here. But I accept all kinds of comments so let me know how I did kay kay? :) However, putting on eyeliner is not that difficult as you imagine, there are lots of videos on Youtube teaching you the correct way, you just have to be a little more patient! :)
002 Galaxy Black
BEFORE
AFTER
Can you see the difference? What I do is I draw by following the natural shape of my eyes because natural looking lines is what I desire. It really does enhance the appearance of my eyes and make my eyes look bigger. I expect the lines to look more shimmery but they don't. However, despite of having shimmer it doesn't irritate my eyes at all. This definitely is a plus point. :D
In general, the best time to apply eyeliner is after you have applied eyeshadow but before you apply mascara. But today I am not applying eyeshadow or mascara at all, to give full focus on the eyeliner! The easiest application happens when you tilt your head back and use your non-drawing hand to stretch the skin on the outside of your eye a bit. Raise your eyebrows so that your eyelid does not block your lash line at all. It may also be helpful to rest your elbow on a table to keep your hand steady. :)
004 Golden Brown
Same way of application. I prefer this colour, I think it suits my hair colour more. It also provides more of a natural day look. What do you think?
Overall, I really like this eyeliner. It probably isn't the best eyeliner, but it is the best alternative choice if you cannot afford high end brands. It is only selling at RM24.90 at Natta Cosme! (Original price: RM34.90) You can get it here.
To thank you for reading until this line, I have a good news to share with you!
